There is no doubt about the fact that a desire is a cerebral function.
There is desire for recognition. But, is there really the region of controlling desire for
recognition in our cerebra?
Desire for recognition is desire to be recognized by someone.
Desire for recognition is the sum of the desire to do the same things as what everyone does
and the desire to do the action to confirm if we have done the same things as
what everyone does. We have been able to divide desire for recognition into the desire to do the same things
as what everyone does and the desire to act something.
For example,though desire to be recognized getting a perfect score on the tests is desire for
recognition, its situation is a situation coming from two of desire to have the same sense of values as everyone
has -
(Getting a perfect score on the tests is great)- and desire to execute the sense of values.
There is the desire to do the same things as what everyone does, in a region of cerebra.
We can accept it. In the same way, there is the desire to act something, in a region of
cerebra. We can accept this too. Thinking the real cerebral function, we have been able to
divide desire of recognition into two simpler desires.
Friends are the object of individual's desire to do the same things as what everyone does.
We want to do the same things as what our friends do.
It is sure that the feeling of thinking a great deal of our friends is feeling of
thinking a great deal of the source of information (- the same things). Certainly we need
friends because of desire to do the same things as what everyone does.
We have been able to realize that desire for friendship is one of expression of desire to
do the same things as what everyone does.
Human has desire to bring up something. It is gardening or to keep an animal. Those
are desire to bring up plant or to bring up an animal.
We often bring up our behavior. If we could pull the door and it would open, we would try to
open the door by pulling it from next time. This is the result of having brought up a behavior
of pulling. If we could solve simultaneous equations by elimination, we would try to solve them
by elimination next time. This is the result of having brought up a behavior of solving by
elimination.
Bringing up is equal to bringing up things to be related to ourselves.
Thing in a representative to be related to ourselves is blood relation. Desire to bring up
things to be related to ourselves produces feeling of love to one who has blood relation.
Love is the feeling of desire to bring up things to be related to ourselves.
Love to the opposite sex is the result of having brought up the object of sexual desire. Charity
- love to anyone - is the result of seriously having brought up the object of desire to do
the same things as what everyone does - human.
Desire to bring up something is simple one, and it exists in a region of cerebra.
According to Wikipedia a society indicates all relations between human and human.
Society consists of the relations between human and human.
We have desire to connect with human. What kind of thing is it to want to connect at all?
We can say that to want to connect with human is conclusion of desire to do the same things as
what everyone does.
When we do the same things as what everyone does, connections and society are produced.
So desire at the bottom of society is desire to do the same things as what everyone does.
Murray, in his work "Personality", has explained Desire of Domination is the sign of intention
of the power to the other person. For example, it is something like force persuasion or urge.
We can explain that Desire for Domination is a desire to make someone execute the same thought
as what we have. This is a desire utilizing desire of human to do the same things as what
everyone does. We cannot understand the region which controls Desire for Domination
exists in cerebra. Desire for Domination is narcissism of utilizing the desire to do the same
things as what everyone does,- one of desire to bring up things to be related to ourselves.
(Desire for attack also is based on narcissism.)
Sexual Desire, Desire for Sleep and Appetite are called Three Important Desires.
These have no need to be explained newly. These are simple desires. And the region which
controls these desires is supposed to exist in cerebra.
Desire for Avoidance of Pains is a desire to try to avoid pains and is a simple desire.
Murray has recited the names - desire for avoidance of injuries, desire for avoidance of
humiliations and desire for avoidance of censures. These all are Desire for Avoidance of Pains.
And the region which controls Desire for Avoidance of Pain is supposed to exist in cerebra.
Desire for Action is desire to act on the other desire when the other desire has appeared.
It is wrong to understand Desire for Action is not a desire but only function.
We have desire to do something in spite of if the other desire exists. This desire is Desire
for Action.
If a man had been blindfolded when he woke up in the morning, he would perhaps try to move his arms and legs
first in bewilderment. The reason is because desire to act exists purely inside human.
Action of wanting reward by doing something at any rate is "bet". This is supposed to be one
of Desire for action.
This is desire to excrete and is a simple desire.
Child wants Mother. This is a simple desire. Let's call it Desire of Child to want Mother.
Mother also loves Child. This is a simple desire. Let's call it Desire of Mother to want Child.
From above argument, we have realized that desires classified by Murray consist of simpler
desires from cerebral physiological point of view. I will recite the simpler desires newly.
(1) Desire to do the same things as what everyone does
(2) Desire to bring up something (to be related to ourselves)
(3) Sexual Desire
(4) Desire for Sleep
(5) Appetite
(6) Desire for Avoidance of Pains
(7) Desire for Action
(8) Desire for Excretion
(9) Desire of Child to want Mother
(10) Desire of Mother to want Child
These ten Desires. Though Murray has explained the other many Desires, the major part of them is Desire
in society. And, as for these, (1) Desire to do the same things as what everyone does
was connected with (2) Desire to bring up something complicatedly and appeared.
We have detected an interesting thing by classifying desires into simple desires in cerebral
physiology.
It is that all the simple desires (ten desires in 11) either belong to Desire Processed
by Serial Processing or belong to Desire Processed by Parallel Processing.
We call it Serial Processing to execute it one by one in computer processing or programing.
It has been the core of existing technology.
We call it Parallel Processing to execute in computer processing or
programing with it standing in a line by being dispersed or divided
into multiple CPU etc.
Human has the simple desires which we classified into just now.
But, it is unknown completely that all the desires are processed in
either Serial Processing or Parallel Processing (against the other desires).
(We call simple desire desire from now on.)
We should realize that all the desires either belong to Desire Processed by Serial Processing
or belong to Desire Processed by Parallel Processing.
There are desires processed (handled or satisfied) in Serial Processing and desires processed (handled or
satisfied) in Parallel Processing.
The above (1)(3)(4)(5)(8)(9) and (10) are desires processed in Serial Processing.
In human the above (2) is desire processed in Parallel Processing. (In animals (2) is
desire processed in Serial Processing.)
In adult (6) is desire processed in Parallel Processing. (In child (6) is desire
processed in Serial Processing.)
(7) is desire processed in Parallel Processing.
(Some people process (7) in Serial Processing.)
No one has a meal while excreting it. This reason is because (8) Desire for Excretion is desire
processed in Serial Processing and (5) Appetite also is desire processed in Serial
Processing. Desires processed in Serial Processing cannot be satisfied at the same time.
When one of Serial Desire is being satisfied the other Serial Desire stops. There is order that satisfies them.
You are allowed to imagine that Desires processed in Serial Processing are waiting
for being satisfied, standing lengthwise.
No one has sex while excreting it. This reason is because (8) Desire for Excretion is desire
processed in Serial Processing and (3) Sexual Desire also is desire processed in
Serial Processing. The same logic is applied to these.
Though I tell tediously,no one has sex while having a meal. This reason is because (5) Appetite is
desire processed in Serial Processing and (3) Sexual Desire also is desire
processed in Serial Processing. The same logic is applied to these.
It is possible for us to make efforts to work comfortably. This reason is because both (6) Desire
for Avoidance of Pains - working comfortably - and (2) Desire to bring up something
(to be related to ourselves) - making efforts - belong to desire processed in Parallel
Processing. Desires processed in Parallel Processing can be satisfied at the same time.
When one of Parallel Desire is being satisfied the other Parallel Desire does not stop forced.
You are allowed to imagine that Desires processed in Parallel Processing are waiting
for being satisfied, standing sidewise.
Are Desire processed in Serial Processing and Desire processed in Parallel
Processing satisfied at the same time? We reply "Yes".
It is because one is processed in Parallel Processing while the other is processed in Serial Processing.
For example, we were hungry, we felt hunger, we ate something to decrease the pain of hunger
and we satisfied appetite. It is possible.
It happens because (6) Desire for Avoidance of Pains is desire processed in Parallel Processing
though (5) Appetite is Desire processed in Serial Processing.
There are many example. Please think for yourself for more information.
We cannot have the same sex as the other has. This is because (1) Desire to do the same
things as what everyone does is desire processed in Serial Processing and (3) Sexual
Desire also is desire processed in Serial Processing.
But we can have sex with the same object (partner). It is because the object is a thing which
we have brought up Sexual Desire against,- (2). It is because (2) Desire to bring up something is desire
processed in Parallel Processing. This is often executed to maintain the regime in the office
and executed to create intellects.
A representative of evil is Sexual Desire. Let's try to think the reason why Sexual Desire is
evil.
What is good at all? I will tell conclusion. Only action to be brought by (1) desire to
do the same things as what everyone does is good. If it is the same things as what everyone does,
it is not evil.
(1) Desire to do the same things as what everyone does is desire processed in Serial
Processing. But (3) Sexual Desire also is desire processed in Serial Processing. Multiple
Desires processed in Serial Processing cannot be satisfied at the same time. When one of them
is being satisfied the other stops.
When Sexual Desire is being satisfied, Desire to do the same things as what everyone does
is not satisfied. Naturally good which supports Desire to do the same things as what everyone
does denies actions which Sexual Desire brings. This is a reason why Sexual Desire is evil.
Because both (5) appetite and (4) desire for sleep are desire processed in Serial
Processing in the same way as desire to do the same things as what everyone does, they have
an evil aspect. Words of blame "You have always eaten" and "You have always slept" are symbols of
that.
(7) Desire for Action in ordinary people is desire processed in Parallel Processing,
but Desire for Action in some people is desire processed in Serial Processing.
Kretschmer has classified a robust person into a person of Phlegmatic Temperament. He has
told that he classified it by intuition. I also want to say by intuition that temperament of a person
whose Desire of Action belongs to Desire processed in Serial Processing is Phlegmatic
Temperament.
How different from Cerebra of Child is Cerebra of Adult at all? A clear fact is that (6) Desire
for Avoidance of Pains in Adult's Cerebra belongs to desire processed in Parallel
Processing, and the one in Child's Cerebra belongs to desire processed in Serial Processing.
I will explain about (5) Appetite. Appetite is satisfied for the first time when we move to
the direction for a pain of hunger to decrease. When Appetite is satisfied, Desire for Avoidance
of Pains lies there. That is a special desire utilizing desire for avoidance of pains.
Child cannot satisfy Appetite well
because both Appetite and Desire for Avoidance of Pains belong to desire processed in
Serial Processing. It is because their desires cannot be satisfied at the same time. This means
that child cannot find food by himself. (He depends on Adult.) Because adult's desire for
Avoidance of Pains belongs to desire processed in Parallel Processing, appetite and
desire for Avoidance of Pains can be satisfied at the same time in adult. Adult can get food well by avoiding
a pain of hunger.
Desire for Avoidance of Pains starts to move from Desire processed in Serial Processing
to Desire processed in Parallel Processing at the age of about 12. This move finishes at
the age of about 20. The time when it starts to move is the time when the self grows. And
when it is moving, we are in adolescence.
If we could discover the difference of the region which controls desires processed in
serial processing from the region which controls desires processed in parallel processing,
we could change child's desire for avoidance of pains into adult's artificially. We can change
Child's Cerebra into Adult's Cerebra though moral problems exist.
Human's Cerebra is different from Animals' Cerebra clearly. Some people say that it is a
difference in cerebra's size.
Remarkable difference of Human's Cerebra from Animals' is that (2) Desire to bring up
something belongs to Desire processed in Serial Processing in Animals, and belongs to
Desire processed in Parallel Processing in Human.
Human has gotten high intelligence by separating desire to bring up something from the
other various desires.
We guess Desire to bring up something has moved from Serial Desire to Parallel Desire
during our evolution.
If we could discover the difference of the region which controls desires processed in
serial processing from the region which controls desires processed in parallel processing,
we could change animals' desire to bring up something into human's artificially. We can change
Animals' Cerebra into Human's Cerebra though moral problems exist.
